Yupparat Air Quality Monitoring Station is situated behind the Yupparat School in Chiang Mai’s old city. Readings of particulate pollution ( PM10 ) here are frequently higher than at the Government Center at Mae Rim. In the background, between and towering over school buildings, stands the city’s oldest indigenous tree a Terminalia bellirica which is well worth a visit.
