A huge area East of Green Lake on the Irrigation Canal Rd, note Law Department classic style office in the background, where fill is being dumped. Can plans for this land, if they exist accomodate planting a forest of diverse local trees?

Chiang Mai is sorely in need of public parks. This would seem to be an ideal area to create one. Hopefully more would follow. The developers should not be allowed to exploit these areas. Follow the example of the garden city, Singapore, where companies sponsor green areas, both large and miniscule, and are given due credit.
