Future Urban Forest Riparian Zone

This is a low lying area and behind the trees in the distanceis the Army managed golf course next to Chiang Mai Racecourse. below the trees is a creek which once would have had a forest of Takien – Hopea odorata – trees and associated riparian species. this could be part of a nature corridor to Doi Suthep if complemented by reforestation around the new Convention and Exhibition Palace.
