The Meteorological Department issued a fourth weather report on Friday, warning almost all parts of the country of possible consequences of the torrential rain that will continue until next week.

A moderate monsoon trough was crawling through the North, Central, East, lower Northeast regions and causing continual torrential rain in the upper and middle parts of Thailand. In the South the active monsoon was triggering heavy rain and strong winds across the region.

These weather conditions are forecaste to linger from Friday until Monday and 15 provinces in these regions are being warned to brace for possible flooding — Mae Hong Son, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Lampang, Tak, Rayong, Chanthaburi, Trat, Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun.
