The European standard is 50. The health impact of exposure to high levels of PM10 over a number of days is considerable, and will have long-term effects for children. A Thai study indicated a 1.9% increased risk of dying from cardiovascular disease, and 1.0% risk of all disease for every 10 micrograms per cubic meter. And where is it coming from?
