Ricky missed one exhibition. It was from my project "From Waste to Value". We encourage people to decompose their waste and revalue things that they discard. I think we should prepare for better event on the Environment Day in June.
I will have a chance to display about global warming in late June at the Airport Plaza. If you want to have a boot there displaying information about global warming and climate change for 3-7 days please let me know quick.

Guess what? You are dead right to say "the event is a show"
I went there at 10 am.
First Two stands inside the door were Japanese Consulate - No photos of Whaling of course.
Then USA Consulate - the No 1 enemy of the World and as if to prove as much they had 3 displays.

House design showing Summer shading from the Sun - Here in the tropics we need shade to a completely different specification.
Biofuels ( President Evo Morales of Bolivia's comments in NY yesterday were not on show q.v. - <a href="http://news.sbs.com.au/worldnewsaustralia/39scrap_capitalism_save_the_planet39_morales_545431" rel="nofollow">Link to article</a>
Transportatoin - pics of airplanes. No high speed TGV of Shin Kan Sen trains - because the USA has NONE.

Then a hideously noisy band started up - how many watts of fossil fuel generated electricity it used I do not know.
I tried to avoid the noise only to find a display - all in Thai - about using local knowledge for forest management - complete with pics of Forest Fire Breaks - Totally useless stuff.
It was time to leave.
Next time we should go prepared and wreck the show.
Meanwhile on Channel News Asia was a nice little story about a lady in Malaya who seperates her househol waste - returning food scraps to Mother Earth and Recyclables to Father Factory.
